As a business professional you are probably aware how important it is to make connections in the business world and what better way to make them than with an event that brings together some of the most proactive business professionals in Kent…
Some people are daunted when they see the word ‘networking’ – it takes them immediately out of their comfort zone which is why our events are designed to be like an intimate gathering, whether there are 20 or 100 people in the room. What starts off as a simple conversation can lead in to a fruitful and productive business relationship that can strengthen not only your connections, but also the bottom line of your business! Doubtful? When I started out in business I forced myself to attend ‘networking’ events as someone I admired told me it was a useful tool for my own business growth. Fortunately, it wasn’t as bad as I imagined and now three years on since that first event, I can honestly say, I have met some amazing people, business has been done and my Christmas card list has definitely increased!
I now host a variety of events, from informal networking, private dining experiences to full blown black tie dinners for over 200 people. One thing that remains the same is, each event introduces me to at least one person who I am likely to talk to in the future, collaborate with or maybe, even be able to help on their path.
On 17th June, we are holding an event at a brand new venue, (Independently owned) Christi’s Hall in Maidstone. The purpose of the event is to launch the 4th Kent Independent Traders Awards and to introduce you to people who will be able to help you grow your business to where you want it to be. The great thing about being in business is that there are people out there who are willing you to succeed and can easily become an invaluable tool in your plans. The only thing that may let you down is not biting the bullet and getting out there and meeting them.
I look forward to welcoming you, whether you are a first timer or a seasoned networking professional. This event can be the start of something special…If you wish to attend on your own, don’t worry, you won’t stay that way for long.
I am also proud and thrilled to tell you that this event is sponsored by the FSB Kent and Medway, (Headline Sponsors) and RIFT Accounting. These two organisations may well hold the key to you moving forward.
